BLACKPINK Star Rose Breaks Silence On Dating Actor Jaden Smith
BLACKPINK member Rose has been long speculated of having a secret affair with American actor Jaden Smith and that her latest solo album Rosie was also inspired by him.

Blackpink star Rose‘s love life has always been a topic of interest among her fans, with her latest solo album, Rosie, and its songs fuelling the discussions even more. Despite the fact that the K-pop singer has always been private about her relationships, fans couldn’t help but speculate that the song Toxic Till The End might have taken inspiration from her real life, including her ex-lovers. One of the names that surfaced after the album’s release was the name of American actor Jaden Smith.
While many were convinced that Rose indeed mentioned the actor in her song, the K-pop star has finally spoken the truth. During a lie-detector interview with Vanity Fair, she was directly asked about her inspiration for the song and whether it was Jaden Smith. Clearly denying it, which was found to be true, she went on to give a shoutout to the actor and added that she misses him. “No, not about Jaden Smith. He’s a good friend, though. Hey Jaden, I miss you." She even cleared the question of her ever dating the actor.

Dating Rumours Between Rosé And Jaden Smith
From Rose’s music video co-star Evan Mock sporting a pink buzz cut to doing skateboarding, fans didn’t waste time connecting the dots and discovering that Jaden Smith also shared a similar passion for skateboarding and even had a similar hairstyle for a long period. They also noted a heated argument in the music video, which they believed was related to one of Rose’s fights with her ex before a concert, considering her similar outfits in the video and at Coachella which she attended with fellow BLACKPINK members and Smith.

On the other hand, the After Earth actor’s own music had also added more fuel to the rumours with his 2024 song Roses, where he sings about finding love at a festival—a detail that seems to have matched with the singer’s experience at Coachella. Another of his tracks, Your Voice, left many convinced that it was indeed a nod to the BLACKPINK member.
“Baby, I love you, goodbye (bye), I thought we run out in paradise. It’s sad at the end, I’m surprised (surprise). I swear LaLa Land, always makes me cry. Rosé, a bucket of ice," a part of the lyrics read.
