Dharmendra Showers Love On ‘Excellent Artist, Pretty Beti’ Alia Bhatt In Touching Post

Legendary star Dharmendra has dropped a new post on Instagram and it is pure love. Dedicated to Alia Bhatt, the social media entry comprised a photo of the veteran star and the actress. It was accompanied by a heart-touching caption wherein Dharmendra showered love on the talented actress calling her “loving bahu" and “pretty beti." The actor shared screen space with Alia in Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, released in 2023.

In another post shared earlier, Dharmendra also shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the sets of the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The photo shows him and Alia looking at an iPad. For a side note, he wrote, “Friends, Loving Alia is showing me glimpses of my romantic past. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." Dharmendra’s son and actor Sunny Deol also commented on the post and dropped red hearts.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani featured Ranveer and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Besides the stars, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi alongside Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir and Kshitee Jog joined the supporting cast.
Next up for Dharmendra is Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, touted to be a war drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The soldier lived a life worth inspiration and was awarded Param Vir Chakra posthumously. Apart from Dharmendra, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda in the lead role. Speaking to The Indian Express in a past interaction, the director of the film revealed that the most anticipated project is unlike his previous ones.
He shared, “It is a story I connected with and liked. Parts of it are very emotional, it also has battle sequences and action in the typical sense of the word. Hopefully, we have tried and done it differently. It is a war film, and it is a drama. It was a break from the kind of movies I was doing, and I wanted that, so that the next time I am doing a thriller, I feel fresh. That there is no baggage."
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Jigra. Next, she will be seen in Alpha alongside Sharvari.
