Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has finally spoken about the ongoing controversy involving late K-pop star Sulli. The idol tragically passed away in 2019 after years of cyberbullying and mental abuse. This comes after Sulli’s brother, Choi Da-hee, posted cryptic messages on social media about the actor’s dating scandal. He has now directly asked for answers regarding Sulli’s explicit scenes in the 2017 film Real, both Kim Soo-hyun and the film’s director, Lee Sa-rang. While the agency has not yet clarified leaked messages between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron, they have issued a new statement and confirmed they are investigating claims that Kim Soo-hyun’s team pressured Sulli into performing explicit scenes.
Following Choi Da-hee’s claim, a spokesperson from Gold Medalist told iMBC Entertainment, “We are currently checking."

In an earlier interview with Sports Kyunghyang, Sulli’s brother directly questioned Kim Soo Hyun and his cousin, Lee Sa Rang, about Sulli’s nude scenes in Real. He asked, “We have spent the past six years in great sorrow and in tears, but we have also felt a lot of gratitude for the support and consideration many people have given us. We could not just ignore Kim Sae Ron’s death as if it didn’t have any relation to us. We extend our deepest condolences to her bereaved family. We urge that [Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Ro Be] address these issues."
Choi Da-hee raised three key concerns regarding Sulli’s intimate scenes with Kim Soo-hyun. First, he cited statements from staff and actors at Sulli’s funeral, claiming these scenes were not originally in the script and sought Kim Soo-hyun’s perspective on the matter. Second, he questioned why Sulli filmed a nude scene herself despite a body double being available on set, suggesting she may have been pressured into it. Lastly, he highlighted inconsistencies in reports—while earlier claims stated no body double was present due to illness, funeral attendees insisted a double was available.
Sulli’s brother mentioned that many things were discussed at her funeral, but he is only demanding answers to three specific issues. He also hopes for the truth to come out regarding Kim Sae Ron. Choi Da-hee also said that if Kim Sae Ron’s family ever wanted to meet, he’s open to it and willing to offer comfort during their difficult time.
