Singer Neha Kakkar’s fans were recently left shocked after some pictures of her getting arrested surfaced on social media. In the viral clicks, Neha was seen crying as she walked with a policeman holding her hand. The photo was shared by a user named ‘Indianews 3’ with the caption, “Tragic end to Neha Kakkar’s career! This morning’s news was a shock to all Indian people! (sic)."
However, soon after the pictures were shared, it was revealed that they were fake. The viral photos have been generated by AI. In the original pictures, a woman was being arrested by police officials. However, the the viral clicks, the woman’s face was swapped with that of Neha Kakkar. The singer is yet to react to the viral photos as of now.

Neha Kakkar made her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer in the film Meerabai, Not Out. She then went on to perform some of the most popular songs, including Second Hand Jawaani, Sunny Sunny, London Thumakda, Kar Gayi Chull, Kala Chashma, and Garmi. She is also known for hosting shows like Indian Idol and Superstar Singer.
In 2020, Neha married singer Rohanpreet Singh in Delhi. However, in 2024, their divorce rumours made headlines and left everyone shocked. Later in an interview with ETimes, Rohanpreet addressed the speculation, affirming that the couple remains unaffected by such gossip.
“Any kind of rumour doesn’t bother us or affect our relationship. We are mentally touchwood so prepared that these rumours which are obviously untrue don’t affect us or our bond. Jo sach he nahi hai Woh kaise aap apne relationship par haavi hone de sakte ho. (If it isn’t true, how can you let it affect your relationship?) I don’t think anybody should mind such baseless rumours. Kuch toh log kahenge logon ka kaam hai kehna (People have always say something, it is their job to talk). If they are happy talking about us, they can happily do it," he said.
