With the official date (February 20) of their legal separation approaching, a new report now suggests that Jennifer Lopez is ‘still very much in love’ with Affleck. She wants to give their relationship another chance and is exploring ways to purchase a property around the corner from Ben Affleck.
A source close to the two told Radar Online that Jennifer Lopez, currently living in the Beverly Hills mansion, wants to purchase a property in Brentwood. If this deal does not fall through, she will search for the affluent neighbourhood close to Affleck’s home. “Jennifer is acting as though she’s fine with this new stage in their relationship – but she’s still very much in love with Ben," he said. He further explained, “It’s because she’s thinking of the kids and her priority is making sure they feel the family is still together."

Talking about Jennifer’s plans with Affleck, the source suggested that she wants to have a close bond with Affleck similar to what he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. He said, “She wants to maintain a friendship with Ben and envisions them having a relationship that’s as close as what he’s got with his first ex-wife, Jennifer Garner." He later quipped, “ It’s hard to imagine Ben’s not a little overwhelmed by her refusal to let go."
Following their split, many fans speculated that the Let’s Get Loud singer would move to Miami or New York to stay closer to her family. However, the Grammy Award winner chose to keep her residence in Los Angeles, which she once shared with Ben Affleck.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck has been spotted spending quality time with his first ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. After Thanksgiving, both were seen together for breakfast and a drive in the Brentwood. Additionally, they attended their middle child Seraphina’s play in Santa Monica, last December in California. The two actors are co-parents to three children —Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel. However, reports suggest that Garner has no plans to start a relationship with Affleck. The actress is happy in her long-term relationship with businessman John Miller.
