Janhvi Kapoor Reveals The Challenges Of Walking In Heels: ‘Halat Kharab Ho Rahi Hai’
In one of the interactions with News18 during the event, Janhvi Kapoor was asked about her feelings to be part of the event and also winning the prestigious award.
Janhvi Kapoor attended the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2025, looking glamorous in a red-hued embellished strapless gown. She simply set the internet ablaze with her looks. But in a heartfelt conversation, she revealed the difficulty of walking in heels matching her outfit. The actress also bagged the Best Actress award at the event for her incredible performance in the 2024-released movie Mr & Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao in the leads.
In one of the interactions with News18 during the event, Janhvi Kapoor was asked about her feelings to be part of the event and also winning the prestigious award. To this, she initially expressed her happiness and then talked about the difficulties of walking in heels so as to complement her ensemble with utmost confidence. She said, “I’m feeling great, I’m so happy to be here. I’m very excited, very uncomfortable. Yaar mujhe lagta hai aap logo ko yeh award Mr and Mrs Mahi ke liye nahi blki inn heels mein chalne ke liye dena chahiye mujhe (I think you guys should give this award to me, not for Mr and Mrs Mahi but for walking in these heels). But yeah, happy to be here."

When asked to elaborate more on how difficult it is to walk on heels, she said, “Halat kharab ho gyi hai bhai. Lekin (My condition has worsened, brother. But) it’s worth it. It’s fine for fashion." She wore a red-hued shimmery gown at the awards event, which she teamed with sleek diamond jewellery and glam makeup. Open, wavy tresses rounded off her look.
In the same video, the interviewer was then seen teasing the actress by mentioning if her favourite song then was “Koi Mil Gaya, Main Toh HEEL Gaya," leaving her nodding in an awkward affirmation.
Further, Janhvi talked about Laapataa Ladies, and how it was an under-watched film at the beginning but gradually moved all of them. She revealed how the movie made its place amongst the audience. The diva even called herself a “Laapataa Ladies-supporter."
Janhvi was also questioned about her upcoming projects. To which she named her next lineup of projects, including Param Sundari with Siddharth Malhotra, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari co-starring Varun Dhawan, and RC16 alongside Ram Charan. However, she refrained from revealing about the other film on which she has been roped in and added, “There are lots of exciting stuff coming up that’s very close to my heart. So I hope you guys enjoy it."
On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Devara: Part 1, marking her debut in the Telugu film industry. She played the role of Thangam in the action thriller opposite Jr. NTR.
