Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finalised their divorce, just five months after their unexpected split on their second wedding anniversary. The duo, who married in 2022, will officially end their marriage on February 20, reported Daily Mail. The former partners will keep what they individually acquired while being married and they’ve agreed not to provide future spousal support to each other. JLo will also start using her original last name and will drop Affleck. Their love story, which began with a broken engagement in 2004, seemed to have a happy ending when they tied the knot in 2022, but it has come to an end.

According to a ENews report, Lopez and Affleck could have decided to split the millions they earned, including their properties, cars and other assets. However, they chose not to take that route. JLo filed for divorce in August but listed their separation date as April 26, 2024. Despite the news of their troubled relationship, the couple were spotted together multiple times. Most recently, they reunited at the Golden Globes after the holiday season.
