The iconic film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapur, re-released in theaters on January 3, bringing a wave of nostalgia after 11 years.
Movie enthusiasts are flocking to cinemas to relive the magic, with viral videos capturing fans dancing and singing along to the film’s memorable songs. Reacting to the enthusiastic response, Karan Johar compared the atmosphere to a ‘rock concert.’ “Converting Cinemas into Rock concerts! YJHD is back in theatres (sic)," he wrote.

Made on a budget of Rs 75 crore, the Dharma Productions blockbuster eventually grossed Rs 318 crore worldwide, cementing its legacy as one of Bollywood’s most beloved films.
The film followed the journey of Kabir “Bunny" Thapar (Ranbir Kapoor), a carefree and ambitious young man who dreams of traveling the world, and Naina Talwar (Deepika Padukone), a reserved and studious girl.
