Veteran actor Govinda was rushed to Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai early Tuesday morning after accidentally shooting himself in the leg. The incident occurred when Govinda’s revolver misfired as he was placing it back in the cupboard. Fortunately, the injury was not severe, and the actor is expected to make a full recovery soon.

    While Govinda remains in the hospital, Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah was spotted arriving to visit him. When approached by the paparazzi outside the hospital, Kashmera, despite the ongoing family feud, kept her comments brief, simply saying, “Kuch nahi" (Nothing).

    Dr. Agarwal, who treated Govinda, provided more details about the actor’s injury. “He received around 8-10 stitches," the doctor confirmed. He added, “I think maximum, in a couple of days, he should be discharged." According to Dr. Agarwal, Govinda’s injury was two inches below his knee, but the actor is expected to make a quick recovery.

    Additionally, filmmaker David Dhawan and actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha paid visits to the hospital to check on Govinda. Sinha later updated the media, confirming that the actor is doing well and will likely return home soon. “The doctor said everything is fine. He’ll go home safely in a day or two," Sinha assured reporters.

    According to Mumbai Police, the mishap occurred around 4:45 am on Tuesday. Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, explained, “Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata and was putting his licensed revolver back in the cupboard when it slipped, causing the gun to discharge and hit his leg."
