The Indian classical music scene is witnessing a resurgence, all thanks to sitarist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, who is the youngest and final disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar. The globally celebrated sitar virtuoso is currently on the India leg of his acclaimed Sitar for Mental Health Tour. Last night, the sitar maestro enthralled an enthusiastic audience in Mumbai with yet another soulful performance.

On Sunday, April 13, the sitarist stepped onto the stage at the Dome SVP Stadium and left everyone mesmerised with a transformative musical experience, weaving melodies that felt both timeless and healing. Several celebrities from the film fraternity were in attendance. Among them was Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the Akind founder shared a small peek into Rishab’s performance last night. In the clip, the sitarist was seen immersed in his music.
