Mrunal Thakur’s Love Of Poha Is Oh-So-Relatable

Mrunal Thakur is currently busy shooting for her upcoming action drama film titled Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, co-starring renowned actor Adivi Sesh. Helmed by Shaniel Deo, the film is expected to hit the theaters in the second half of 2025. Amid her busy working schedule, Mrunal often makes time to share some sneak peeks from her fun moments along with team members behind the camera. A while ago, she delighted her Instafam with a hilarious video depicting her honest reaction when she had her favourite meal for breakfast.
The clip begins with Mrunal entering her vanity van on the sets of Dacoit, and she begins dancing as one of her team members sings Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen’s iconic song Chunnari Chunnari’s tune. As it progresses, we see the actress doing a thumka, as she expresses her love for the food items that her team member mentions. She looked all excited after her ally mentioned Poha, while her reaction to Rajma Chawal is not that good.

Coming back to Dacoit, the film’s plot revolves around a furious prisoner who is determined to seek revenge on his ex-girlfriend for betraying him. As he devises a risky plan to catch her, the story transforms into a riveting and emotionally charged journey of love, betrayal and revenge.
Earlier, speaking about the film, Mrunal stated, “The role I’m going to play in the film will allow me to explore aspects of playing an on-screen character that I haven’t done previously as an actor. This idea, combined with the genre and script of Dacoit, will undoubtedly make it a treat to watch for audiences. I can’t wait to dive deep into Shaneil’s world."
Apart from this, Mrunal also has an action-comedy, Son of Sardaar 2, opposite actor Ajay Devgn in her kitty. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film is expected to be released in July this year.
