Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Thandel’ released in theatres today, and the actors have been busy with the promotions of their film. Sai Pallavi recently shared a video on social media, in which she interviewed Chay, asking him a range of questions, few of which were submitted by netizens on X (formerly Twitter). Sai Pallavi read out a netizen’s question, asking Naga Chaitanya when he will learn acting. The actor calmly responded to it, highlighting that acting is a continuous process, and that he continues to learn every single day.

In the video shared by Sai Pallavi on X, the actress narrated a social media user’s question to Naga Chaitanya: ‘When will you learn acting?" He seemed amused by the question initially, and asked, “What do you mean by when will I learn acting?" He then calmly responded to it, saying, “Honestly, it’s a continuous process; it’s something you keep learning over time. I don’t think you can ever hit a full stop with it. If you do and stop growing as an actor, then there’s no future…there’s no progress. I still haven’t learnt; I’m continuing to learn every single day." Sai Pallavi shared the video with a caption that read, “Looks like the interview went well!"

    She also asked Naga Chaitanya why Thandel is a special and personal film for him. He replied, “This is special because it’s a true story. I am being very honest. It’s a true story. True characters. That’s one thing. And of course, I want a hit. As an actor I’m craving for a good hit. And it has been almost 2 years since I have had a release."

    Meanwhile, Chay’s wife and actress Sobhita Dhulipala penned down a heartwarming note to cheer for her hubby as Thandel released in theatres today. “I have seen you be so focused and positive through the making of this film, can’t want for everyone (and myself) experience this extraordinary love story in the theatres from tomorrow," she wrote.

    Helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel also stars Prakash Belawadi, Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, and Karunakaran. The film is based on a real-life incident from 2018, where a group of fishermen from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, inadvertently crossed into Pakistan waters and were detained.
