Namrata Shirodkar celebrated World Siblings Day with a heartfelt post dedicated to her sister, Shilpa Shirodkar. The former actress dropped an unseen throwback photo capturing a candid moment between the two. While the two are often seen dropping photos with each other on social media, this nostalgic snapshot took fans on a trip down memory lane. Soon the comments were flooded by the fans gushing over the bond between the Shirodkar sisters.
In the picture, both Namrata and Shilpa are seen wearing traditional sarees accompanied by gold jewellery. While Narmata wore a pink and green saree, Shilpa went for a golden one. The two sport a bright smile while posing for the camera. “Happy SiblingsDay, my favourite person!" Namrata wrote in the caption.

Earlier, Namrata had shared a picture with her sister when Shilpa Shirodkar came out of the Bigg Boss 18 house after eviction. Namrata expressed her joy on social media at having her back. “So happy to have you back!!! Shilpa Shirodkar," she wrote dropping a slew of photos.
Namrata opted for a casual top and pants while Shilpa was dressed in a salwar set in the pictures they both posted.

Namrata, married to Telugu actor Mahesh Babu, was crowned Femina Miss India in 1993. She placed sixth in the Miss Universe contest while representing India. She is well recognized for her roles in the movie Kachche Dhaage, Ezhupunna Tharakan, Vaastav: The Reality, and Pukar. She also appeared in the films Astitva, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, LOC Kargil, and Bride and Prejudice.
Shilpa has largely worked in films between 1989 and 2000. After a 13-year break, she returned to acting in 2013 with the television series Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. In 2024, she took part in Bigg Boss 18. The show also featured Rajat Dalal, Chahat Pandey, Shrutika Arjun, Nyrraa Banerjee, Muskan Bamne, Alice Kaushik, Tajindar Bagga, Chum Darang, Avinash Singh, Vivian Dsena, Karan Veer Mehra, and others.
