Priyanka Chopra has been a part of the Krrish franchise since its inception with Koi Mil Gaya. She plays Priya Mehra in the films, who is Hrithik Roshan‘s love interest. As anticipation builds around Krrish 4, Priyanka Chopra’s reaction to Hrithik helming the film as the director has left fans wondering if she will return to the franchise.

Earlier today, Rakesh Roshan announced that he is passing on the baton to Hrithik Roshan, who will now be directing Krrish 4. Rakesh wrote on Instagram, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings! ♥️."

As reactions and congratulations poured in the comments section, Priyanka Chopra also dropped some heart emojis. Reacting to her comment, a fan asked, “Priya Mehra, are you coming back?😍" Another wrote, “Come back in Krrish." Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend, Saba Azad, also dropped heart emojis in the comments. The superstar’s cousin, Pashmina Roshan, also commented with red heart emojis.

Rakesh Roshan told Pinkvilla, “I am passing the baton of the director of Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has lived, breathed and dreamt about this franchise since its inception with me. Hrithik has a clear and very ambitious vision of taking Krrish’s journey forward with the audience for the next decades."

The filmmaker said, “I couldn’t be more prouder to see him wear the director’s hat for a film that means the world to us as a family. Krrish has entertained audiences the world over, and Hrithik will now reveal the next chapters of this superhero saga and take the vision I created so many years ago to greater heights." While Hrithik Roshan will direct Krrish 4, it will be produced by Aditya Chopra.
