The duo, who were rumoured to be dating, left their fans heartbroken when they quietly pulled away from each other’s social media without any official statement on their relationship status. Just when their fans were eagerly rooting for an update, influencer-actor Rajiv Adatia, who is also close friends with both Jannat and Faisal, shed light on what’s been happening.
Rajiv mentioned that though it’s not his “place to ask" them about their personal lives, things will eventually fall into place. “Mujhe nahi pata actually kya hua tha, it’s not my place to ask. But Faisu is very strong, Jannat is very strong. Wo bohot pyaare hain aur bohot ache dost hai mere. Respect hain, love hain, that will always be there. Maine poocha nahi dono ko ki exactly kya hua hain but all I know is respect aur pyaar hain and everyone is happy in their lives. I know sab theek hone wala hain eventually (I don’t actually know what happened; it’s not my place to ask. But Faisu is very strong, Jannat is very strong. They are very sweet and very good friends of mine. There is respect, there is love, and that will always be there. I haven’t asked either of them exactly what happened, but all I know is there’s respect and love, and everyone is happy in their lives. I know everything will be fine eventually)," said the Celebrity MasterChef contestant in a video posted by pap page Viral Bhayani.

The news of Jannat and Faisal came after Farah Khan seemingly confirmed their relationship during an episode of Celebrity MasterChef. It all started when Farah, who is one of the judges on the show, praised Faisal’s cooking skills. He followed it up by saying, “Yeh show ke baad toh mere pakka shaadi ho jaaegi" (I will definitely get married after this show), without referring to Jannat. Farah quickly interrupted by saying, “Main toh kara ke hi rahungi tere shaadi. Jannat ki sair toh karaungi main". This left Faisu blushing as Dipika Kakar also hinted at their relationship.
