Ranbir Kapoor Hints At Wanting A Second Child With Alia Bhatt After Raha: 'My Children...'

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Raha, in the same year. Ranbir is a doting father to Raha and is often spotted wearing clothes with her name on them. Ranbir also has a tattoo dedicated to Raha on his collarbone. In a recent chat with Mashable, Ranbir answered the most Googled questions about him and revealed if he will get a new tattoo soon. In his answer, Ranbir hinted at wanting more children with Alia Bhatt.
When asked about getting a second tattoo, Ranbir said, “None yet, hopefully soon. The 8th or something, I don’t know, maybe my children’s names, I don’t know." Recently, Alia Bhatt revealed that she has decided on her second child’s name already. Alia Bhatt recently appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast and revealed the story behind Raha getting her name. She also revealed that she has a boy’s name saved in case she has a second child and it’s a boy.

Alia revealed, “This was when Ranbir and I both, like eager parents, were asking on our family group to give both boys and girls names so we’re prepared, so we can zero down on like a girl name and a boy name. So, there were multiple boy names and multiple girl names and, um, we really liked one boy name."
She continued, “We said, ‘Okay, this a lovely boy name.’ I’m not going to reveal that now. We said okay, this name is lovely, now any more girl? My mother-in-law, Ranbir’s mom, suggested, ‘What about Raha? It’ll go very well with the boy name as well if you ever have a boy. If you have a boy and a girl, it’ll be a really good combination.’ Then she suggested a girl and girl combination as well. But Ranbir and I instantly loved Raha. So we had two names, boy and girl, ready."
Ranbir and Alia have often hinted at wanting more kids. Speaking in the IMDb’s Icons Only segment, Alia opened up about her desires. “Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life," she said.
