Saif Ali Khan's Friend Afsar Zaidi Refutes Reports Of Him Rushing Actor To Hospital
According to Afsar Zaidi, he reached the hospital after receiving a call at around 4 am, filled out the mandatory form and completed all the formalities needed for the actor's treatment

The mystery of who rushed actor Saif Ali Khan to the Lilavati Hospital on the night of the knife attack continues to deepen.
After reports of his elder son Ibrahim and then his younger son Taimur taking him to the hospital emerged, yesterday it was reported that his family friend Afsar Zaidi was the man who had rushed the actor.

On Thursday, Zaidi also refuted the reports of taking the actor to the hospital on the night when the stabbing incident took place, reported India Today.
Zaidi claimed that he had reached the hospital only after receiving call from the Pataudi family.
According to Zaidi, he received a call from the family of Saif Ali Khan at around 3:30 am on January 16 and was asked to come to Lilavati hospital where the actor was admitted.
Saif was rushed to the hospital after he was stabbed six times by an intruder who had entered his house to carry out a robbery in Bandra.
Zaidi said that he was able to reach the hospital at around 4 am where he filled out the mandatory form and completed all the admission formalities for the actor’s treatment.
In Saif Ali Khan’s patient admission form, which was accessed by News18, details of injuries suffered by the actor were mentioned.
The form also had the name of Afsar Ziaidi in the “brought to the hospital by" field and the relation was mentioned as “friend".
It was earlier reported that Saif’s eight-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan had accompanied him to the hospital, which was also confirmed by the doctors later.
What Details Were Found In Saif’s Admission Form?
In the admission form of Saif Ali Khan, it was mentioned that the actor was allotted bed no. 1112 after he was admitted at 4.11 am on January 16.
It added that the actor was subjected to “assault by an unknown person at 2:30 am while at home in Bandra, sustaining multiple laceration wounds and bleeding."
As per the admission form, the actor had lacerations in the back, right side of the neck, right shoulder and lateral aspect of his left wrist and also had an elbow abrasion wound.
The hospital had discharged the actor on Tuesday. He was wearing a cast on his hand there was a bandage on his neck.
