Salman Khan is gearing up for his next film Sikandar. The action drama has created a lot of buzz ahead of its release. Recently, makers also released the much awaited trailer and fans just can’t wait for the film to release. Helmed by AR Murugadoss and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, it is eyeing a grand release on March 30, marking the actor’s return to Eid releases after a gap. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.
Recently, Salman Khan was spotted in the city flashing his million dollar smile. He looked handsome in casuals as he posed for the camera. Fans were quick to react and showered praises on him. Some also called him the king of Bollywood. And many dropped heart emojis in the comment section. According to sacnlik.com, Sikandar has sold 76,006 tickets in Hindi 2D and 282 tickets in Hindi IMAX till now, with four days remaining until its release. With block seats, the film sold tickets worth Rs 6.61 crore for the opening day. The film has a total of 9128 shows all over India.

Salman said, “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture achi ho ya buri ho, wo sau [Rs 100 crore] toh paar kara hi dete hain (laughs)." He immediately corrected himself and said that the number was Rs 200 crore. “Rs 100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain (Rs 100 crore is a thing of the past)," he added.
Meanwhile, Salman’s last big release was Tiger 3, which arrived on the occasion of Diwali 2023 and received lukewarm responses from audiences. The film reportedly minted around Rs 286 crore Nett in India with a budget of a whopping Rs 300 crore.
Apart from this, his last Eid release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, in 2023, failed to enter the Rs 200 crore club and minted around Rs 180 crore Nett worldwide. Therefore, it would be interesting to see how Sikandar performs at the box office.
The film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead roles.
