Why Was Shah Rukh Khan Angry At The Media?
Shah Rukh Khan’s recent appearances have generated quite a buzz as the actor has been hiding his face from the paps since 2021. He was reportedly angry at them for their coverage of Aryan Khan’s arrest. Since then, the actor has been hiding under umbrellas and rarely posing for the media at events and parties.
Shah Rukh Khan has only made rare appearances in front of the shutterbugs, including at Baba Siddiqui’s Eid party last year, airport appearances during IIFA and IPL and the premiere of Suhana Khan’s debut film, The Archies. He hid his face while dubbing Mufasa, and even during his recent visit to Aamir Khan’s house.
For the unversed, Aryan Khan was arrested in October 2021 in a ‘drugs on cruise’ case. Shah Rukh had visited Aryan in jail and was brutally mobbed. Aryan was eventually released and cleared of his charges. Mumbai-based paparazzo Varinder Chawla later revealed that Shah Rukh was ‘mad’ at the media.
“After speaking to him, I realised his love for his children, his son Aryan Khan. I, too, have children; if people went around talking ill and negative things about my children, I, too, would feel sad. He was so sad, upset back then, we didn’t care about that. We just kept complaining that SRK doesn’t give us photos and always hides his face. He is mad at the media for what they did to his son," Varinder told Hindi Rush.
