Shahid Kapoor has condemned the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed several innocent lives and left the nation in shock. Several celebrities have expressed their anger and offered prayers for the souls. Shahid Kapoor has also joined them and called it a cowardly act of terrorism.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Shahid wrote, “Innocent lives lost in Pahalgam. Nothing but pain comes out of such cowardly acts of terrorism. This is not what anyone’s God would ever accept. Jo jo karam karega tu use hi hoga bharna. Praying for the families dealing with the immeasurable loss." Earlier, Varun also wrote, “The #Pahalgam Terror Attack is a cowardly evil attack and shows the mindset behind the people who plan these attacks.writing on Twitter doesn’t do any thing but this is the only outlet we have. I am sure the real heroes on ground the INDIAN army will answer. Prayers and condolences for the departed souls who were innocently and peacefully causing no harm To anyone and yet had to incur this om Shanti."

Dubbed the Pahalgam Massacre of Hindu Tourists, the attack saw militants linked to The Resistance Front (TRF) open fire on a group of Hindu tourists. At least 28 people were killed, and over 20 others were injured in the deadly assault.
Reacting to the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on X, “I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest. All possible assistance is being provided to those affected."
“Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice…they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable, and it will get even stronger," he added.
