Shark Tank India: Vineeta Singh Taunts Gaurav Taneja, Tells Him 'Influencers Want To Become Founders'
Gaurav Taneja is a 38-year-old YouTuber from Kanpur who creates content related to fitness and nutrition on YouTube.
It is no secret that Gaurav Taneja aka Flying Beast will be gracing the fourth season of Shark Tank India. The popular YouTuber will be seen pitching his fitness brand named Beast Life. Recently, makers of the show released a promo in which Gaurav was seen interacting with the Sharks when Vineeta Singh seemingly took a dig at him.
The Shark Tank promo began with Vineeta Singh asking her fellow sharks who the next contestant was. To this, Kunal Bahl replied, “It’s Flying Beast, the influencer." This left Vineeta surprised, who then added, “Gaurav Taneja?! He’s coming?"

After Kunal Bahl confirmed that the YouTuber is gracing the show, the promo shared a glimpse of Gaurav Taneja. “Sharks, these days all founders want to become influencers. Don’t know where they get the urge from," he said. Vineeta Singh reacted to this and taunted the YouTuber. “And influencers want to become founders!" she said.
In the promo, a person, accompanying Taneja, was also seen claiming that Beast Life generated Rs 1 crore in sales within just one hour of launching. This left sharks shocked. “That is a dream for a lot of businesses," Aman Gupta said. Following this, Gaurav asked for Rs 1 crore investment from sharks for 1 per cent of equity in his brand.
Who Is Gaurav Taneja?
Gaurav Taneja is a 38-year-old YouTuber from Kanpur and has been living in Delhi for quite some time now. Taneja, who reportedly attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, holds a Bachelor’s degree from IIT Kharagpur. He is married to Ritu Rathee, and they have two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.
He began his career with Gurugram-based airline IndiGo, where he served as both a first officer and a captain. Flying Beast later joined Malaysian airline AirAsia as a pilot but was suspended for “standing up for the safe operations of an aircraft and its passengers".
Taneja is also a certified nutritionist and professional bodybuilder who creates content related to fitness and nutrition on YouTube. He currently runs three YouTube channels: “Flying Beast," “Fit Muscle TV," and “Rasbhari Ke Papa".
