Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 7: Salman Khan's Film Earns Rs 97 Crore
The AR Murugadoss film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, earned Rs 97.03 crore net in India in its first week, outperforming Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
The AR Murugadoss film, Sikandar, that stars Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, was released in theatres on Eid, on March 30. According to reports, the film raked in Rs 97.03 crore net in India during its first week of release.
According to the trade website, Sikandar earned an estimated Rs 3.28 crore net in India on Saturday, bringing its seven-day total to Rs 97.03 crore net. Despite a lukewarm opening at Rs 26 crore, the film managed to collect Rs 90.25 crore in its first five days. Released on a Sunday, expectations were high for a stronger weekend performance. However, Friday collections dipped by 41.67 per cent, with the film earning just Rs 3.5 crore.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the action-packed film features a star-studded cast, including Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Sharman Joshi. The story follows Salman’s character, Sikandar, on a relentless mission to seek justice and protect the three individuals who received organ donations from his late wife.
According to the filmmakers, Sikandar has earned ₹178.16 crore worldwide in six days. However, considering it’s a Salman Khan film, the numbers are underwhelming. In comparison, his previous release Tiger 3 had raked in ₹219.4 crore net in India by day 7, while Sikandar is yet to cross the ₹100 crore mark. On the brighter side, it’s still ahead of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which earned ₹90.15 crore in its first week. With Monday around the corner, all eyes are now on how the film fares in the long run.
Ahead of its release, Salman Khan had urged moviegoers to support not just Sikandar but also the other big releases this week. “I am hoping people get good bonuses on Eid so they can watch Sikandar, Mohanlal sir’s L2: Empuraan, and also Sunny Deol’s new film (Jaat). Three big stars are coming with big films, and I hope all work," he said.
