In the video, Aamir takes on the role of host, diving straight into questions about Sikandar and what it was like for Murugadoss to work with Salman. “It was a very good experience," the director said. “He has a separate aura. His presence can be felt the moment he steps on set." Salman, in his typical style, kept things light, saying, “Sir ki picture hai yaar… Bohot achhi banayi hai, toh experience toh bohot achha hoga," before planting a playful kiss on Murugadoss’ cheek.

The banter didn’t stop there. Aamir tossed in a rapid-fire round, asking, “Who did you enjoy working with more—me or Salman?" Murugadoss, laughing nervously, didn’t pick sides. When asked, “Who gave you less trouble?" and “Who came on set on time?" AR Murugadoss jokingly pointed to Aamir. “That’s why I asked you the question," he quipped. But when asked, “Who finished work faster?" Murugadoss quickly named Salman. The mood remained light-hearted as Aamir asked, “Who’s more irritating?" to which Murugadoss laughed, “What is this?"
While the promotional effort has remained relatively low-key, Sikandar’s advance bookings are gaining traction. According to sacnilk.com, the film has already sold over 76,000 tickets for Hindi 2D and 282 for Hindi IMAX, pulling in approximately Rs 6.61 crore in revenue ahead of its release, with over 9,100 shows scheduled across India.
During the trailer launch, Salman expressed gratitude to his fans, thanking them for consistently backing his films—regardless of critical reception. “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive—it’s the love of the people. Picture achhi ho ya buri ho, wo sau [Rs 100 crore] toh paar kara hi dete hain," he laughed, before correcting himself, “Rs 100 crore is a thing of the past—it’s Rs 200 crore now."
Salman’s last Eid outing, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023), failed to hit the Rs 200 crore mark, while Tiger 3, released during Diwali the same year, grossed around Rs 286 crore Nett in India on a budget of Rs 300 crore. With Sikandar, expectations are high—but the verdict will rest with the audience.
The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj in key roles. With Salman returning to Eid and teaming up with AR Murugadoss for the first time, Sikandar promises action, scale, and a shot at redemption at the box office.
