Rakul Preet Singh, known for her roles in movies like De De Pyaar De, Runway 34, Doctor G and Yaariyan, often recreates viral reel trends, serving the right dose of entertainment to her Instagram community. Additionally, to keep her fans updated, the actress also posts stunning insights from her life, including her culinary adventures, travel diaries and work. Her recent post features her taking part in the viral trend of pronouncing the croissants as “Prashant".
In a video on Instagram, Rakul Preet Singh was seen being seated inside an eatery while diving into mouth-watering croissants. Dressed in a dual-coloured shirt, the diva kept her makeup and hair subtle for the day. In the clip, she was seen relishing one chocolate-filled croissant, and her expression proved how she was simply enjoying the foodie moment. In front of her was spotted another set of croissants, kept inside a small plate, topped with chocolate sauce, giving us some pure cravings. Sharing the video, she gave a hint about the ongoing trend of the wrong pronunciation of the food item and wrote, “Sunday done right with Prashant (croissant)."

Right after, Singh’s fans flooded the comment section by posting hilarious reactions to her video. One user said, “Itna chota Prashant (So small croissant)… not right !!!" Another mentioned, “Prashant (croissant) weekend plans." Echoing in the same opinion, “Haha besttttt." Many others dropped hearts and other appreciative emojis.
Coming to her professional front, Singh was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, released in February. Co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles, Singh played the character of Antara Khanna in the movie. She will next appear in a Tamil movie, Indian 3, which is undergoing post-production and in De De Pyaar De 2, which is a sequel to the 2019 movie starring Ajay Devgn.
In the Tamil-language action thriller Indian 3, directed by S. Shankar, Singh will play the role of Disha. Recently, in an interview, she opened up about her opinion on breaking free from stereotypes with challenging roles. While talking about challenging roles in a recent conversation, she stated, “Challenging is exciting," reported Bollywood Hungama.
Rakul elaborated, “Each role is a new world where I can learn something unique, something that reshapes my understanding of myself and my craft," adding, “I see every challenging role as a chance to contribute something fresh to the cinema—an opportunity to engage audiences in a meaningful way."
