Tahir Raj Bhasin Celebrates 3 Years Of Looop Lapeta With A Special Post
Looop Lapeta features Taapsee Pannu as female lead.
Looop Lapeta, the comedy thriller film starring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Taapsee Pannu, completed three years today. Directed by Aakash Bhatia and produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Ellipsis Entertainment, the film is an official Hindi adaptation of the German award-winning film Run Lola Run. To mark the special occasion, Tahir Raj Bhasin took to Instagram and recalled how this film was special in its own way.
Sharing a still from the film, Tahir Raj Bhasin wrote, “When you watch Looop Lapeta you’ll discover the number 3 seeded a lot in subtext. 3 stories in the film, set pieces like triptych mirrors and the three O’s in the title. Just some of the many details that make this shoot and today special. Happy 3 Years of Looop Lapeta."

Looop Lapeta follows the story of a young woman Savi (played by Taapsee Pannu), who races against time to save her partner Satya (played by Tahir Raj Bhasin) from a deadly situation. In a desperate bid to change the outcome, Savi repeatedly replays the same events with minor alterations in each loop.
The film also features Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rajendra Chawla in significant roles.
At the 2022 Filmfare OTT Awards, Looop Lapeta received three nominations, including Best Web Original Film and Best Supporting Actress in a Web Original Film (Shreya Dhanwanthary). Taapsee Pannu won Best Actress in a Web Original Film for her work in this project.
Meanwhile, talking about Tahir Raj Bhasin, the actor rose to fame with his negative portrayal in the cop-thriller film Mardaani alongside Rani Mukerji. He has also appeared in films like 83, Chhichhore, Manto and Force 2. He was recently seen in the romantic drama Saale Aashiq opposite Mithila Palkar. The film skipped an OTT release and premiered on Sony MAX.
Taapsee Pannu, on the other hand, was last seen in the comedy film Khel Khel Mein alongside Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor. She will next be seen in the films – Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan and Gandhari.
