According to the Wonka star’s close friends, Timothee has shelled out a whopping $300,000 for Kylie’s engagement ring, which reportedly features 150 diamonds. Speaking to The US Sun, the actor has been working on his engagement plans for a “couple of plans" and is finally ready to take the relationship “to the next level." One of his friends shared that the 29-year-old has been seeking advice for a week to find the best way to shop for a ring. He even travelled to France and New York City and ultimately settled down with a Parisian designer for the engagement ring. Another of his friends revealed that the proposal might happen later this year.

“I have never seen him so happy. He has been telling us for a while now how deeply in love he is," the friend added, further disclosing that the A Complete Unknown star has made some significant effort to arrange meetings with jewellers before selecting “the one he loved most."
“The ring, made by the Parisian designer, is incredibly special and will take six weeks to complete. He’s ready to get engaged and envisions a long, happy future with Kylie," the friend continued. It is now yet to be seen how Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s romantic proposal unfolds.
