The official teaser of Vijay Deverakonda’s next film, Kingdom (titled Saamraajya in Hindi), was released a while back. Headlined by Vijay Deverakonda, the film showcases him as a fierce action hero. Known for his charming lover-boy roles, the actor has had a jaw-dropping transition into a strong, intense and unstoppable role.
Set against a war backdrop, the 115-second promo portrays Vijay as a hero who saves people struggling and suffering for survival in a time of crisis. The promo opens with powerful visuals of war, destruction and suffering. It shows the struggles of the oppressed, the bloodshed around them and their failed attempts to fight back. But things take a turn with the arrival of the undisputed king (Vijay), who brings hope to them. “I will do anything, sir. If needed, I will burn everything," he said from police custody, showing his determination to stand for his people.
