Keerthy Suresh is one of the most prominent actresses of the South film industry, known for her performances in several Telugu and Tamil films. Her career began as a child artist and she later gained recognition for her performances in critically acclaimed films like Mahanati, Bairava, Nenu Local, Dasara, Penguin and others. After making it big in the South, the actress is now making her way to Hindi cinema, following the footsteps of actress Nayanthara.
The 32-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut with the 2024 action thriller Baby John opposite actor Varun Dhawan. Backed by Atlee and directed by Kalees, the film was an official Hindi remake of the Tamil-language action thriller Their, featuring Thalapathy Vijay.

Although the film failed at the box office, Kreethy’s performance gained a lot of applause from the audience and the critics. The film also featured Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
In her career spanning years, the actress has shared the screen space with several notable actors like Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, Nani, Dileep, Ram Pothineni and Thalapathy Vijay among others.
She has also been awarded the prestigious National Film Award for her performance in the 2018 biographical drama film Mahanati co-starring Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda.
Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film is based on the life of the South Indian actress Savitri. It follows the story of her rise to fame, her marriage to Gemini Ganesan, and her subsequent struggles and tragic end.
Keerthy’s accolades also include five SIIMA Awards and two Filmfare Awards South for her acting performances. Not just this, she was placed in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 list of 2021.
Talking about her personal life, Keerthy comes from a filmy family. She is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka.
She will be next seen in the action comedy Revolver Rita in a never-seen-before massy avatar. The official release date of the film is yet to be announced. If the reports are to be believed, the actress will also be sharing screen space with South star Suriya in director Venky Atluri’s next.
As far as her Bollywood projects are concerned, recently Filmfare reported that Keerthy might soon be seen in an upcoming Hindi rom-com film. However, details regarding the project are still awaited.
