Zayed Khan was recently spotted with his son Zidaan in the city. Father and son looked adorable as they got papped while attending an event. Well, what made it more special was Zidaan wearing Main Hoon Na’s jacket. The video has gone viral and fans have also reacted to it.
In the video, shared by Voompla, we can see Zayed Khan smiling and greeting paps. The actor also asked his son to pose and revealed to paps ‘Yeh Main Hoon Na wali jacket." He also kissed his son Zidaan’s forehead. Main Hoon Na, released in 2004, was the directorial debut of Farah Khan and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, and Suniel Shetty. In a chat with Couple of Things, Zayed opened up on how he bagged the role. Turns out, Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood himself, asked him a pretty blunt question before finalising the casting: “Can you act?" Zayed admitted that he felt a bit hurt at the time, but clearly, things worked out, and he ended up being part of the film alongside the superstar.
During the interview, Zayed Khan recalled how Farah Khan had asked him to meet her at Shah Rukh Khan’s office. He shared that when he arrived, he told Farah, “Farah looks at me and I tell her that ‘Farah, firstly, I don’t know why am I here but… She says ‘just shut up for two minutes’. I felt she is very rude. I am like trying my level best to make conversation and Shah Rukh walks in. He is usual Shah Rukh, very sweet, very loving, very well-mannered."
While his acting career slowed down, Zayed made a remarkable shift to business, reportedly surpassing stars like Allu Arjun and Prabhas in wealth. As per ET Now, Zayed Khan’s net worth is a whopping Rs 1,500 crore. Son of actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan and nephew of Feroz Khan, Zayed entered Bollywood at 22 in 2003. He gained fame with hits like Main Hoon Na and Dus, before finding success in the business world.
Zayed Khan is married to Malaika Parekh, his childhood friend, and they tied the knot in 2005. Malaika is a jewellery designer and has always supported Zayed in both his career and personal life. The couple has two sons, Zidaan and Aariz.
