One of WWE’s most iconic premium live events, The Royal Rumble, will be held this weekend at the Lucas Oil Arena in Indianapolis, United States. The show will be aired live on February 2 in India. The 2025 Royal Rumble will feature four official matches. They include the men’s and women’s battle royals, an Undisputed Championship bout and a Tag Team Championship clash. The men’s Royal Rumble match will feature superstars like John Cena, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The women’s fixture will witness the presence of Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax and Bayley.

Men’s Royal Rumble match
Cody Rhodes headlined WrestleMania 40 after winning the men’s Royal Rumble last year. He won’t be competing in this year’s edition to improve the chances of participants like John Cena, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Cena is one of the favourites to win the men’s event, especially when considering it is his final year in the company.
Women’s Royal Rumble match
The Women’s Royal Rumble match will feature stars like Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan, Nia Jax and Naomi. Last year’s winner, Bayley, will be heading into the battle royal with hopes of securing a second consecutive win. Flair, on the other hand, will be making her first appearance in nearly a year after her injury. A lot of speculations also point towards Alexa Bliss’ return to the company.
Cody Rhodes (c) vs Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship:
Kevin Owens will have the opportunity to become the Undisputed WWE Champion this Sunday as he takes on Cody Rhodes in a ladder match. The two superstars have been involved in a feud over the past few months with Owens brutalising the champion on multiple occasions. Rhodes already pinned Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event but will have to do it all over again on Sunday.
DIY vs Motor City Machine Guns in a Two Out of Three Falls match for the WWE Tag Team Championship:
The Motor City Machine Guns have established themselves as a top-tier team in the WWE. They joined the main roster from NXT and soon found their way to the Tag Team titles. They eventually lost the silverware to DIY in December last year. The duo of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin will have the opportunity to regain the championship on Sunday.
