Apple CEO Tim Cook has once again teased the public with a promising update about the AI integration coming to iPhone and Mac users in 2024. Cook was speaking in a shareholder’s meeting where he talked about Apple ‘breaking new ground’ on generative AI this year. This is the second time we’re hearing Cook mention the company’s plans around AI this year and how the technology is expected to shape the next few years for its products.
The Apple chief had already confirmed that AI features are coming to iPhones later this year, but words like break new ground suggests the company has been working on something different from other tech giants in the AI arena.
