A keeper! Great flavors Easy to follow
I made this recipe as is except for the wine which I had to replace for another white wine with adjustments. Honestly, I can only imagine that the recipe will come out even better with the Marsala. Still, it was excellent. Will make it again!

Dana Hickman reviewed CHEEREEO’s Simple Ranchy Breaded Fish Fillets Recipe. April 2024
I didn't read ahead so I mixed the ranch and bread crumbs together, didn't get as much of the salty seasoning (which might have been better for us) and pan fried - definitely not as good as last time we had it, next time I should bake! - April 2024Great flavor - I use Swai Fish, added some grated parm cheese in to the breading mix and also baked, per some other suggestions. Was a tad salty but still good. Served over cous cous and with a side of mixed veggies! - Sept 2011

Different. Loved it. Made as written except used full 1 lb. ground pork and used full 2 tsp salt, and it was NOT too salty. Recipe made 12 rolls. I loved the tip about stacking two two leaves prior to rolling--great for using the tinier leaves on the inside, never did that before. I stirred the dill directly into the sauce as I adore dill. I missed the vinegar/sweet-and-sour aspect of traditional stuffed cabbage. I added 1 small lemon squeezed into sauce, and it made it, plus a sprinkle of salt--made it similar to an avgolemono sauce. I bet it would have been great with the addition of some tomato sauce as suggested as an option in the recipe. I would love to try it with beef broth next time with a Tblsp of cider vinegar. See pics.

My picky 8 year old LOVES this fish!! And I mean picky.. she ate this up and left no crumbs. Literally! The whole family liked this recipe.. to avoid it being overly salty you can just use unseasoned bread crumbs or less seasoning. We also bake instead of fry like the other comments have said.
