During interrogation, the man lamented that his wife’s religious rituals kept them from enjoying intimacy. The police are currently searching for his accomplice

In India, many Hindu women traditionally begin their day with prayers at the temple and performing rituals after bathing and before engaging in any other activity. Several women also observe fasts based on their vows, such as on Mondays for Lord Shiva, which is considered auspicious in Hindu families. However, a husband in Jaipur, angered by his wife’s religious devotion and fasting, went to the extreme of vandalising a temple.
The incident occurred in Punana village of Meena Ki Dhani in Jaipur, where Kamlesh Meena was arrested for vandalising a temple. Under the influence of alcohol, he entered the temple and damaged a centuries-old idol. Another individual, Makhan Lal, was also involved in the act, and police are currently searching for him.
