To elevate her life, Devyn Aiken from Philadelphia, underwent an Rs 9.4 lakh ($11,000) rhinoplasty in November, which not only altered her appearance but also gave her the courage to end an “unhappy" marriage.
“I feel extremely sexy. My new nose motivated me to choose myself and finally end my miserable marriage," the newly single 30-year-old told NewYork Post.
The decision to alter her standout nose empowered Aiken to demand a divorce from her husband of seven years in December. Her jaw-dropping transformation has garnered over 4.5 million views on TikTok, with fans in awe of her new look.
“I wake up and feel so much happier," Aiken said about her nose job “glow up" — a newfound brilliance she also attributes to her separation. “I get to live the rest of my life feeling like this."

“Middle school was really tough," she recalled. Unlike her parents and four siblings, Aiken had a prominent nose, leading to relentless bullying and depression. Boys called her names like “witch," “toucan," and “Pinocchio."
The constant teasing and low self-esteem led Aiken to settle for an ill-fated relationship. “We realised we prematurely got married and didn’t know each other well," she explained. Although her ex-husband loved her original nose, they often argued and were not aligned.
Everything began to align once she decided to reconstruct her nose. “It’s changed my life," Aiken said of the operation, which she paid for herself. During her recovery, she decided it was time to move on with her life and finalize her divorce.
With her new look, Aiken is now embracing life and dating. “I’m dating, exclusively dating, and having so much fun," she gushed. Her transformation has also inspired a community of social media supporters who compare her new look to A-listers like Bella Hadid and Céline Dion. She hopes others will be inspired by her journey, both in appearance and in taking control of their lives.
