Delhi Elections: AAP vs BJP, Who Promised What For Students?

The Assembly Election in Delhi will take place on February 5, 2025.
The BJP released the second part of its manifesto on January 21, promising free education from pre-school to postgraduation.
The AAP, in its manifesto released earlier in January, vowed to cover the costs for Dalit students, who will secure admission to international universities.
The BJP promised to offer Rs 15,000 in financial assistance for competitive exam aspirants and reimburse travel and application fees twice.

Under the Dr BR Ambedkar Stipend Scheme, the BJP said it would provide a Rs 1000 monthly stipend to Scheduled Caste students in technical and commerce courses.
The AAP said male school and college students will get free bus rides, while all students will be given a 50% discount on metro fares.
The AAP will cover the fees, staying and travel costs for Dalit students, who will secure admission to international universities to pursue higher education.
The counting of the votes for the Delhi Assembly election will be on February 8, 2025.
