Industry Validation
PuREPower Grid, a 5 MWh containerized product with in-built solar and PCS, has received significant industry validation. PURE has garnered Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from over 10 leading Renewable Energy EPC players and large industries. The demand for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in India is expected to exceed $36 billion by 2030, driven by the need for over 200 GWh of BESS to support the country’s 500 GW renewable energy target.
Advanced Technology and Features
PuREPower Grid is equipped with high energy density batteries, 5th generation power electronics, and incorporates Cloud and Predictive AI for seamless remote monitoring and 100% uptime. The product features a comprehensive multi-level thermal management system, including nano-PCM cooling at the cell level, liquid cooling at the pack level, and rack-level cooling. This design ensures efficient heat dissipation, extending battery life and improving round trip efficiencies while providing world-class safety.
PuREPower Grid is competitively priced with local servicing and spare parts readily available, ensuring efficient asset management for energy stakeholders. The product will be used in solar and wind projects, large commercial and industrial establishments, and across thousands of upcoming EV fast-charging stations on highways.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Nishanth Dongari emphasized that PuREPower Grid is not just a product but a catalyst for India’s energy transformation. He highlighted PURE’s expertise in battery technology and power electronics, creating a powerful, intelligent, and cost-effective grid-scale product. The product will also support the adoption of fast chargers for EVs by simplifying the integration of ESS products and eliminating the need for expensive and time-consuming infrastructure upgrades.
