Delhi vs Railways Highlights, Ranji Trophy Day 2 (Delhi Cricket Team vs Railways Cricket Team, Ranji Trophy Trophy): Delhi captain Ayush Badoni won the toss on Thursday and invited Railways to bat first, after which, riding on half-centuries from wicketkeeper-batter Upendra Yadav (95) and spinner Karn Sharma (50), the Suraj Ahuja-led side posted a total of 241 runs in the first innings. At the close of the first day, Delhi managed to score 41 runs for the loss of Aprit Rana’s wicket in 10 overs.
On Day 2, star India batter and former captain Virat Kohli came out to bat at No. 4 for Delhi but could only manage to score 6 runs from 15 balls. During his stay at the crease, the 36-year-old right-handed batter hammered one boundary. He was clean bowled by Himanshu Sangwan on the fourth ball of the 28th over.
In the first session of second day, despite losing Kohli for a low score, Delhi took the lead thanks to captain Ayush Badoni’s 99 and Sumit Mathur’s unbeaten 78.
