Team India has won both the ODIs played so far against the Pakistan men's cricket team at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which is set to host the Champions Trophy 2025 match between the two teams on Sunday, February 23.

India will face Pakistan in the second Group A match of the Champions Trophy 2025 on Sunday, February 23. Match No. 5 of the Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and will start at 2:30 PM IST. India defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets in the first Champions Trophy 2025 match played in Dubai on Thursday, February 20, whereas Pakistan suffered a defeat by 60 runs against New Zealand in the tournament’s opener played at National Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday, February 19.

India beat Pakistan by 8 wickets on September 19, 2018

India faced Pakistan in the Group A match of the Asia Cup 2018 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 19, 2018. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and opted to bat first. But his decision backfired, and despite Babar Azam’s 47 and Shoaib Malik’s 43, Pakistan could only manage to score 162 runs for the loss of all 10 wickets in 43.1 overs. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets for 15 runs in seven overs, and three Men in Green batters were sent back to the pavilion by Kedar Jadav, who conceded 23 runs in nine overs.

India chased down the target of 164 runs in 29 overs for the loss of two wickets. For India, captain Rohit Sharma scored 52 runs from 39 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. He added 86 runs for the first wicket with Shikhar Dhawan (46) in 13.1 overs. In addition to the star opening duo, Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik also scored 31 runs each.

India beat Pakistan by nine wickets in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2018 played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 23, 2018. Sarfaraz Ahmed once again opted to bat first, and thanks to Shoaib Malik’s 78, Pakistan posted a total of 237 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal picked up two wickets each for India.

Despite the presence of Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and 2017 Champions Trophy hero Hasan Ali, Pakistan failed to defend the target of 238 runs, and riding on captain Rohit’s unbeaten 111 and Dhawan’s 114, India chased it down in 39.3 overs for the loss of one wicket.
