Indian Premier League Side Royal Challengers Bengaluru managed to rope in Liam Livingstone at the IPL 2025 Auction in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The Bengaluru-based franchise picked up the English all-rounder for a bid of Rs. 8.75 Crore Indian Rupees.

Star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant became the most expensive buy in the history of the IPL as Lucknow Super Giants shelled out a whopping Rs. 27 Crore Indian Rupees for the services of the 27-year-old.

Delhi Capitals added Australian seamer Mitchell Starc for 10 Crore Indian Rupees, while also managing to hold on to rising Aussie star Jake Fraser-McGurk using their RTM card for a sum of 9 Crore Indian Rupees.

English batter Jos Buttler was picked up by the Gujarat Titans for Rs 15.75 Crore Rupees.

David Warner, who led Sunrisers Hyderabad to the IPL title in the year 2018 and most recently represented Delhi Capitals, did not have any takers.

The southpaw has been one of the most consistent performers in the Indian Premier League with a willow in his hand, but none of the teams opted to raise their paddle when the maverick batter’s name came up at the auction.
