'Kya Re A Hero...Ghar Ka Team Hai Kya?' Rohit Sharma Taunts Shardul Thakur For Getting Late For Practice
In a video going viral on the internet, Mumbai Indians star opener can be seen hilariously taunting Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Shardul Thakur for coming late for practice.

Mumbai Indians will face Lucknow Super Giants in their 10th league match of IPL 2025 on Sunday (April 27) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Mumbai-based franchise, after losing four out of their first five matches, has made a super comeback in IPL 2025 and is on a winning run of four matches. The Hardik Pandya-led side would like to come up with a big show against LSG in front of home fans and settle the scores against Rishabh Pant & Co., which got the better of them by 12 runs in the IPL 2025 match played at Ekana Stadium earlier this month.
Ahead of the high-voltage match between the two teams, which are alive in the race to qualify for playoffs, MI star batter and former captain Rohit Sharma attended a practice session at Wankhede Stadium, and during that he hilariously taunted LSG fast bowler Shardul Thakur for coming late for practice.

Here’s a look:
Rohit, after kicking off his IPL 2025 campaign with a duck against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk Stadium on March 23, has found his form back and will enter Sunday’s contest after registering back-to-back fifty-plus scores. The 37-year-old right-handed batter from Mumbai remained unbeaten on 76 runs from 45 balls against CSK on April 20, and in the last IPL 2025 match played between MI and SRH in Hyderabad on April 23, he scored 70 runs from 46 balls to set up a 7-wicket win for the Hardik Pandya-led side.
On the other hand, Shardul, after joining LSG as a replacement player for Mohsin Khan, has impressed with his bowling performances. With 12 wickets to his name in nine matches played so far, he is the leading wicket-taker for the Lucknow-based franchise.
In the last IPL 2025 match played between MI and LSG on April 4, Rohit didn’t play due to an injury-related issue, whereas Shardul finished with figures of 1 for 40 in four overs. He dismissed wicketkeeper-batter Ryan Rickleton in that match.
