Interestingly, Rivaba was initially a friend of Jadeja’s sister. The couple’s love story began at a party, where they first met, and Jadeja was instantly smitten. With his sister’s help, their bond grew, leading to their marriage a year later, in 2016. Jadeja’s family’s wish for him to settle down soon also played a part in their union.
Rivaba is a qualified mechanical engineer and is currently affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Since the 2022 Assembly elections, she has served as the MLA for Jamnagar North. Rivaba has often been spotted cheering for her husband from the stands during matches.
Jadeja’s Cricketing Prowess
Jadeja has had an illustrious cricket career, capturing over 600 international wickets. In 358 matches, he has picked up 608 wickets at an average of 28.
His best bowling figures stand at an impressive 7 wickets for 42 runs. Jadeja boasts 20 four-wicket hauls and 17 five-wicket hauls. Notably, he played a crucial role in India’s victories at the 2025 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy.
