Rahul Dravid Leaves No Stone Unturned, Inspects Pitch Despite Being On Wheelchair Before RR vs CSK Match
Rahul Dravid, dedicated to Rajasthan Royals, inspected the pitch in a wheelchair before their game against CSK. Despite injuries, his commitment remains strong.

Rahul Dravid remains as committed as ever for the Rajasthan Royals as the Indian batting great was seen having a look at the pitch on a wheelchair ahead of the franchise’s ongoing game against the Chennai Super Kings at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday.
Dravid looked to roll back the years when he played for the Vijaya Cricket Club in Malur for a third-division match in the Nassur Memorial Shield in February earlier this year. But he was not able to deliver here and ended up injuring his leg in the process.

Rajasthan Royals have had a disappointing start to their IPL 2025 campaign, where they lost their first two games of the season against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad and the Kolkata Knight Riders in Guwahati, respectively.
Dravid recently shared his thoughts on the young 14-year-old talent, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s chances of making his IPL debut. The Head Coach did not feel it was the right time to send him in and instead wants the youngster to focus on amassing experience by practising with the senior stars for the time being.
“He is training really well, and he looks like a really good and exciting talent but there are other equally good players as well and part of our responsibility is to groom him well, give him a little bit of time in the environment, let him get used to it and practice with the players, let him get a feel of the environment, all these are great experiences for him, rather than putting him straight in front of the crowd so it’s a part of the process we follow in grooming a player and if an opportunity arises we won’t be scared to play him if it is required," Dravid said in the pre-match press conference.
The game against CSK now holds even more importance as the side, which is being led by Riyan Parag for the time being, will be keen on opening their account with the first win of the season.
CSK won the toss and chose to bowl first in Guwahati, and the Royals have started well despite the premature dismissals of their opening pair.
