'Script Writer Hai Ya Journalist?': Suryakumar Yadav Lashes Out At Rumours Of Switching From Mumbai To Goa
SKY had seemingly enough of the chit-chat among media, as the Mumbai batter took to social media to lambast those bandying all such talks around.

Suryakumar Yadav may be a fan of movies, but he sure doesn’t appreciate others writing the narrative for his own life, as the Mumbai batter lashed out against rumors of a possible move to Goa’s Ranji Trophy team following mumurs of teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal’s possible switch on Wednesday.
According to The Indian Express, Yashasvi Jaiswal has reportedly decided to switch domestic allegiance from Mumbai to Goa from the 2025-26 season, following sources announcing that the left-handed batter emailed the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Tuesday seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the switch.

The rumour mill though did not stop there, as reports from Times Of India that followed added to the same, stating that Jaiswal was set to take over as Goa captain, with the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) eyeing a ‘coup’ of the MCA ranks, reportedly contacting Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma as well.
But, it seemed as if SKY had enough of the chit-chat among media, as the Mumbai batter took to social media to lambast those bandying all such talks around.
“Script writer hai ya journalist? Agar hasna hai toh (If I want to laugh) I will stop watching comedy movies and start reading these articles. Ekdum bakwas (Utter nonsense)", wrote SKY from his official X account.
The reason behind SKY’s lambasting was directed towards yet another aspect of the TOI report, which stated that Suryakumar could be playing a ‘lead role’ in pursuing players for the switch. This has said to have prompted MCA president Ajinkya Naik to get into meetings to discuss the developments.
The report claimed that ‘discontent’ has been brewing in the Mumbai dressing room, citing that Jaiswal’s decision could have roots in an incident from the 2022 Duleep Trophy.
