Victor Boniface To Stay At Bayer Leverkusen, Al Nassr Close In On Jhon Duran
Boniface, who was left out of the Leverkusen squad for their UEFA Champions League fixture against Czech outfit Sparta Prague on Wednesday following media reports that the 24-year-old wanted a move to Al Nassr, will return to Leverkusen training Xabi Alonso revealed.

Bayer Leverkusen player Victor Boniface, who was touted for a big-money move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, is set to remain with the Bundesliga champions after the move to Saudi Arabia failed to materialise.
The Nigerian played a crucial role in Levekusen’s first-ever Bundesliga title win under head coach Xabi Alonso last season as he netted 14 goals in 23 games last season.

Boniface, who was left out of the Leverkusen squad for their UEFA Champions League fixture against Czech outfit Sparta Prague on Wednesday following media reports that the 24-year-old wanted a move to Al Nassr, will return to Leverkusen training Alonso revealed.
“He will train again tomorrow. I believe he is staying with us," said Alonso after his side’s 2-0 win over Sparta in the UCL to secure their place in the top eight of the revamped elite European competition at the end of eight games thereby sealing their place in the Round of 16.
“So I have to say that I am satisfied, I am happy," the 43-year-old coach said.
“He is comfortable here, so I don’t believe that this is a big stress for him," Alonso added.
Following the failure to complete a Boniface move, Al Nassr look to wrap up the signing of Jhon Duran from Aston Villa before the transfer window closes shut.
A fee of £77m is said to be the price the Saudi Pro League outfit will pay the Premier League team for the services of Colombian Duran in a long-term deal.
Duran has been an incredible super-sub option for Villa, who stand eighth both in the UCL and the PL table. Unai Emery’s men booked their ticket to the Ro16 of the Champions League as they finished their group-stage assignments with 16 points following their win over Celtic.
Villa have also amassed 37 points in their 23 Premier League games thus far in the campaign and are just three points behind Chelsea and Bournemouth, placed sixth and seventh respectively, and a further point behind fifth-placed Newcastle United.
