Aligarh Man Waiting To Have Ramzan 'Sehri' Gunned Down By 4 On Bikes
The man, identified as Haris alias Katta, returned after playing a cricket match and was waiting to have 'sehri', standing on the road near his house.

A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh was gunned down by four unknown assailants on Friday as he stood close to his home, preparing to eat “sehri," the pre-dawn meal Muslims have before fasting for Ramadan. After the victim fell on the ground, one of the attackers shot him three more times to ensure he was dead.
The man, identified as Haris alias Katta, returned after playing a cricket match and was waiting to have ‘sehri’, standing on the road near his house. According to the CCTV, the incident took place at around 3:15 am when Haris was standing with another man. The other man moves to sit on a ledge and Haris can be seen watching two bikes pulling up next to him.

On witnessing the bike coming closer to him with pillion rider pointing a gun towards him, Haris turned and tried to shield himself, but the pillion rider shot Haris twice more in quick succession. Following this, he fell on the ground and the man who was with him makes a run for it.
The first shooter pumps another bullet into the fallen Haris and then climbs back onto the motorcycle. The pillion rider of the other bike gets off and walks towards Haris and fires three more bullets.
According to NDTV, police officials said the attack on Haris was probably the result of an enmity, but other angles are also being investigated.
“We received information about the shooting around 3.30 am. Haris was taken to a hospital immediately, where he died. A case has been registered and investigation is on," Assistant Superintendent of Police Mayank Pathak said.
