Many students in India relocate to different cities for educational pursuits, often finding themselves living away from home. These students frequently rent accommodation, sometimes even in a different state. Recognising this, the Rajasthan government is now offering a special benefit tailored to these students.

The state government has promised to provide Rs 20,000 a year to students studying in other cities away from home and living in rented accommodation. The application process for this scheme has already begun. Students enrolled in the academic year 2024-25 who are living in other states for their studies are eligible to apply.
