Chakraborty oversees the business, operations, and strategy of DTDC, a leading player in India’s Integrated Express Logistics sector. He joined DTDC in 2009, initially leading the Retail Business and developing Day-Definite Premium Express Services. Early in his tenure, he strengthened DTDC’s International services and established the foundation for its B2C services. He has spearheaded company-wide programs that have brought significant operational and technological advancements to DTDC. He continues to drive several digitally focused initiatives that redefine DTDC as a preferred Solution Provider in both B2B and B2C segments.
Utilising DTDC’s market-leading position, Abhishek is currently focused on reshaping the company’s operational footprint, re-engineering its infrastructure, and enhancing its digital capabilities. His goal is to drive hyper-growth across the business verticals of Express Parcels, International, and Integrated E-commerce Logistics, positioning DTDC as India’s benchmark player in the Express Industry by 2025.
Before joining DTDC, Abhishek was a management consultant with Accenture’s Global Talent and Innovation Network, working on projects in the Global Banking and Financial Services sector. Prior to that, he worked as an Associate with a leading Investment Banking Firm.
