When Keerthy Suresh tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Antony Thattil in Goa on December 12, her co-star and Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay made sure to mark his attendance. The actor arrived at the special day of the couple to shower blessings on them, acknowledging their humble invitation. Keerthy, seemingly, had her fan girl moment with Thalapathy Vijay as it appears in the pictures posted by her on social media. On Wednesday, the newlywed actress shared a couple of photos from her dreamy ceremonies.
In the first photo, we can see both Keerthy Suresh and Antony Thattil posing with Thalapathy Vijay in between. Dressed in traditional wedding attire, the couple looked heavenly whereas Vijay looked handsome, wearing a white kurta. The second photo shows Keerthy shaking hands with Vijay and greeting him. Her husband, standing next to her, also beams with joy upon meeting the superstar. The caption of the post read, “When our dream icon blessed us at our dream weddinggg! Thalapathy Vijay sir. Earlier, another photo of Thalapathy Vijay from the wedding surfaced online. Shared by a fan on his X handle, the photo shows the superstar posing with guests. For the pre-wedding festivities, he wore a shirt teamed with a matching veshti.
Keerthy Suresh and Thalapathy Vijay have worked together in a couple of films including Bharathan’s 2017 action thriller Bairavaa and AR Murugadoss’ 2018 political action film Sarkar. Keerthy has never shied away from celebrating her love for Vijay, not only as his co-star but as his fan girl for years. In an interview with Galatta a few months back, she shared her experience after meeting the actor for the first time. Keerthy mentioned that she feels tense every time she meets him and it has always been the same since she first met him during Sarkar. “From the moment he shakes my hand, it feels like the very first time," she added.
On the work front, Keerthy Suresh is gearing up for her upcoming action-thriller Baby John, co-starring Varun Dhawan. Helmed by Kalees and presented by Atlee, the film marks Keerthy’s Bollywood debut and is slated to release on December 25. Vijay, on the other hand, is busy with his 69th film, directed by H Vinoth.
