Abhay Deol Gets Quirky With Director Prashanth Nair: ‘Do You Kiss Your Colleagues?’

Abhay Deol, known for his performances in films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dev D, often shares insights from his personal and professional lives on social media with his fans. On Monday, the actor took to Instagram and posted a couple of happy pictures with director Prashant Nair, with whom he worked in the web series Trial By Fire which premiered on Netflix last year.
In the first pic, Prashant puts his hand on Abhay’s shoulder as he makes a funny face. The next picture features the Aisha actor making a pout face as he stands close to the director. The duo were twinning in all-black outfits.

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, the actor wrote in the caption, “Do you ever kiss the people you work with? I do, but only the ones I love! This guy Prashant Nair directed me in Trial By Fire. Sometimes the people who create the most intense dramas are the most chill in real life. Have you seen the show? It’s on Netflix."
The show also featured celebs like Rajshri Deshpande, Anupam Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajesh Tailang, Ashish Vidyarthi, Shilpa Shukla and Shardul Bhardwaj in the lead roles.
As soon as the post was dropped on social media, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans and celebs alike. Rajshri Deshpande wrote, “Kisses to both of you." Actress Kani Kusruti wrote, “Love for both of you." An Instagram user wrote, “Pookie Deol."
Talking about Trial By Fire, the series was based on the 1997 Uphar Cinema Tragedy in Delhi, claiming 59 lives and injuring more than 100 people. It followed the story of Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy, played by Rajshri and Abhay, respectively, after they lost their children in a tragic accident.
Abhay will be next seen in the upcoming family entertainer film Bun Tikki, which also features Zeenat Aman, Shabana Azmi and Anjali Anand in the lead roles. Directed by Faraz Arif Ansari, the film is backed by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra. The official release date of the film is yet to be revealed by the makers.
Abhay’s last big screen release was Velle, released in 2021. The film also featured Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
