US House Republicans Call Out NYT Over Pahalgam Coverage: ‘Terrorist Attack Plain And Simple’
The Republican-led House Foreign Affairs Committee criticized The New York Times for not calling the April 22 attack in Jammu and Kashmir as terrorism.

The Republican-led House Foreign Affairs Committee on Thursday issued a sharp rebuke to The New York Times for its coverage of the April 22 terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
The tweet read: ‘Hey, @nytimes, we fixed it for you. This was a TERRORIST ATTACK, plain and simple.’ The committee’s statement follows growing concerns that several mainstream media outlets in the US and UK, including The New York Times, are failing to explicitly label such incidents as acts of terrorism.
